Kerry Washington is hoping for a guest appearance by the first lady on her hit show Scandal.
The Hill asked Washington at the annual Glamour magazine awards show who she’d like to see guest star on the hit ABC series about a political crisis manager.
“Gosh! Rihanna. Or Beyonce. Or Michelle Obama. That’s my dream team,” Washington said.
Washington’s hopes of a FLOTUS cameo aren’t out of the question. The women recently appeared together on the cover of Glamour, along with actress and fellow Obama supporter Sarah Jessica Parker.
Scandal creator, Shonda Rhimes, held a fundraiser for President Obama at her home and was recently a guest at the White House for a state dinner, The Hill noted.
The president also has expressed warm feelings for the show’s star. At a Democrat fundraiser last July, he referred to Washington as his “friend.”
The first lady has also admitted to loving the political drama. She said in an interview last year that she binge watched all the seasons during a flight to Hawaii.
