Josh Romney, son of former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, got in touch with his heroic side in Utah on Thanksgiving night.
The middle Romney son apparently was the first on the scene to a car accident that involved an SUV driving into a house, according to The Salt Lake Tribune. He was driving his family home after Thanksgiving dinner when the incident happened.
“[The SUV] came right past our car and into the house,” Romney told the paper.
He then helped to pull the four occupants out of their vehicle. No one inside the home was injured and the driver of the SUV suffered only minor injuries, police told the Tribune.
Romney also tweeted out a photo of himself standing next to the wrecked SUV.
Was first on scene to big accident, see pic of car in the house. I lifted 4 people out to safety. All ok. Thankful. pic.twitter.com/j8aDzFZwla

Romney caught some heat for the photo, with some labeling it as a ‘humblebrag.’
@joshromney @TheRiverWanders Only a Romney would see this as a photo op.

I love that, to further his humblebrag about how valiant he was, Josh Romney took the time to pose with the wrecked car in the house.

According to the Tribune, police are still trying to verify that Romney was at the scene. Romney told the paper he viewed his actions as simply what anyone else would do.
“What I did to help the people involved in the accident is what anyone else would do who witnessed such a potentially dangerous situation,” he said.
