Donald Trump is not about to apologize for his controversial remarks about Megyn Kelly; in fact, he said he deserves an apology from the Fox News anchor.
“The fact is she asked me a very inappropriate question,” Trump said Monday on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. “She should really be apologizing to me if you want to know the truth.”
Trump complained to MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski about the treatment he has gotten from Fox News network, and the “horrible questions” asked by the Fox hosts during the first presidential debate.
“They didn’t ask me about jobs, they didn’t ask me about the economy,” Trump said.
Megyn Kelly asked Trump about past comments he has made referring to women as, “fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals.”
In a post-debate interview with CNN, Trump said that Kelly is “not very sharp,” and he does not respect her as a journalist.
“She comes out and starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions,” Trump said. “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her…wherever.”
Trump later said he was not making a reference to menstruation, but simply wanted to move the conversation along and talk about jobs.
