This weekend Red Alert Politics editor Francesca Chambers defended the Food and Drug Administration’s decision to limit access to the purchase of the morning after pill to women over the age of 15, appearing on two primetime television shows to explain why children should not be able to acquire the drug without parental consent.
First, Francesca joined “The Big Picture” host Thom Hartmann and Richard Fowler, progressive pundits, and Horace Cooper, an adjunct fellow with the National Center for Public Policy Research, Friday night for “The Big Picture’s” nightly rumble.

Then, Francesca discussed materialistic Millennials and emergency contraception on PBS’ “To the Contrary” with host Bonnie Erbe, progressive commentators Patricia Sosa and Majorie Clifton and libertarian commentator Nicole Kurokawa Neily.
RAP’s editor argued that a woman’s right to choose does not extend to children. She also explained that while America’s youth are selfish and have fairly received the label ‘iGen’, they are as materialistic as boomers were compared to previous generations.
