And the hits keep on coming for the Obama administration’s contraception mandate.
Currently, bishops from all of the dioceses in the United States have spoken out against the mandate.
Cardinal-designate Timothy Dolan said on Monday
And it’s not just at the diocesan level, plenty of priests are speaking out in their local parishes. Orthodox bishops have also joined the Catholic bishops, and the Sisters of Life also released a statement saying, “This mandate will gravely violate the individual and collective religious liberties of the Sisters of Life and millions of others by forcing us to pay for abortion-inducing drugs, sterilization, and artificial contraception against our conscience.”
Since Catholics are considered a swing vote, it’s a wonder the Obama administration isn’t listening to them.
