Millionaire Hillary Clinton complains about deck being ‘stacked in favor of those at the top’

Hillary Clinton isn’t doing herself any favors.

During remarks at a campaign appearance in Mason City, Iowa, Monday, Hillary emphasized the need for our government to get the economy working for regular Americans because “the deck is still stacked in favor of those at the top.”

In other words, the economy is built to benefit Mrs. Clinton and her husband Bill, who are very much themselves at the very top of the wealthy 1 percent. In fact, the Clintons have raked in $25 million since the start of 2014 for delivering paid speeches alone, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal released days before Hillary’s appearance in Iowa.

Voters might just have difficulty viewing Clinton as in touch with regular Americans given her multimillion-dollar status.

“We have to be especially focused on how we’re going to bring about the changes that will ignite opportunity for everybody willing to work hard for it,” Clinton said Monday.

“There’s something wrong when the average American CEO makes 300 times more than the typical American worker,” the Democratic presidential candidate later added. “Or when hedge fund managers themselves make more and pay less in taxes than nurses and truck drivers.”

Clinton has repeatedly attacked CEO pay even as it was her custom to demand $300,000 for each paid speech she delivered before officially announcing her bid for president.

It’s sort of like the time Clinton called for police to wear body cameras for the sake of “transparency” while simultaneously shielding the country and government from her emails.
