Former NBA star Dennis Rodman is finally leaving the country to run off with his BFF, NorthKorean dictator Kim Jong-un, for a little vaycay in August.
When interviewed by CBS affiliate KXJB, Rodman was asked if he would be seeing the North Korean dictator anytime soon.
“Yes I will,” he replied. “In August. I’m vacationing with him.”
He also used some choice language to refer to Jong-un during the interview, saying ever so eloquently, “Everybody knows I’ve met the f**ker.”
After the former Chicago Bulls player ate dinner with Jong-un last month in North Korea, Rodman has been relaying the dictator’s messages to anyone who will listen, whether it’s on the ‘Today Show’ or at his favorite hotel bar.
The NBA Hall of Famer denies that Jong-un has ever threatened the United States or South Korea.
“He’s not doing it,” Rodman told KXJB. “Have you seen him do it? No one’s ever seen him do it. It’s all about what?”
Later in the interview, Rodman decided it was his turn to pose the questions and asked the reporter, “How’s your family?” The reporter replied, “My family’s good.”
Rodman prodded, “How’s your wife?”
After the reporter said he wasn’t married, Rodman commented, “Thank God.”
The ex-basketball player then went even farther with his line of questioning, and let’s just say that tact is not in Rodman’s wheelhouse.
