If you’ve tried to sign up for an Obamacare exchange on the federal government’s website, chances are you’ve had some trouble — and Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.) is right there with ya, bashing the failed website on Twitter.
At the stroke of midnight on Oct. 1, the Congressman tried to sign up for a healthcare plan on HealthCare.gov. Over the course of an hour, he tried and failed multiple times, documenting his attempts on Twitter.
“We have been warned time and time again that ObamaCare is not ready for prime time,” Huelskamp said in a statement on his website. “Well, it turns out that is right… Seeing how poorly this has been implemented, I am surprised that Harry Reid and Senate Democrats are willing to shut down the government over a law that simply is unworkable, unaffordable, and increasingly unpopular.”

Other members of Congress, journalists and members of the public tweeted about the website glitches and being unable to sign up for healthcare coverage. HealthCare.gov issued two apology tweets for the glitches and delays.
Thanks for all your comments and updates as you enroll. We apologize that wait times on the site and hotline are longer than expected! (1/2)
