In what many in the media are dubbing a brilliant move, Sen. Rand Paul will host an online Town Hall — hosted by Twitter at their headquarters — at 9.pm. That’s directly competing with the Republican debate on Fox Business, from which Paul was excluded based on polling numbers Paul disputes.

Will the move pay off? While Paul may have been able to win the undercard debate, there is no doubt that the media coverage Paul has garnered from his boycott has helped his campaign.
Paul’s entire campaign has been unconventional. While many mainstream polls aren’t showing Paul in the top tier in Iowa, he has a huge network of college students. If they organize and turn out, Paul could surprise everyone and jump to third or fourth in Iowa — shaking up this race.
