Bipartisan Super-duo Cory Booker & Chris Christie: ‘Don’t Worry, We’ve Got This’

On their TV screens, all the American people see right now are divisive political advertisements that are just frustrating and making people furious

Is there any hope or cure for this symptom? Yes there is. Be not dismayed or disheartened much longer. New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie and Newark Democrat Mayor Cory Booker have come to our rescue.

Booker & Christie are no stranger to working together. In New Jersey, they worked together to improve education, increase transparency in government and cap property taxes, just to name a few.

In this hilarious clip, Christie and Booker “battle” for who should take charge in the daunting tasks surrounding the day.

It’s amusing to see Gov. Christie attempt to get involved in the work that needs to be done, only to be met with the response of “I’ve Got This”, by Mayor Booker. Whether it’s trying to come up with ideas to replace town hall meetings or trying to rescue an injured person, Christie’s dire need to be a hero wades in the shadows of the guy who just can’t seem to get out the way—”BOOKER!”

Mayor Booker is so consumed with his heroic acts of the today, that he takes it upon himself to discuss the vice president candidacy with GOP presumptive nominee Gov. Mitt Romney. That’s when Christie intervenes with the infamous line, “I’ve Got This!”

Can the combination of Christie/Booker tackle the challenging needs of America today? There is only one way to find out. Cory Booker to the rescue? During his tenure as Governor of Massachusetts, Romney dealt with a Democrat-controlled legislature. What if he picked the Newark Mayor as Veep as a sign of bipartisanship?

Enjoy the laugh concerning that all you want, but the Christie-Booker duo might be the spark needed to form a true bipartisan spirit in America again. Debt, deficit, unemployment—no problem. The Booker/Christie alliance would simply say “We’ve Got This!”
