MSNBC host Joe Scarborough tore into Hillary Clinton on “Morning Joe” Monday, accusing her of acting “like a robot” and playing “stupid political games” as she continues to insist that she’s not sure yet if she will run for president in 2016.
“I like Hillary Clinton, but what Hillary Clinton has done over the past year or so is why Americans hate politics,” Scarborough said.
The “Morning Joe” host knocked Clinton for going on a “glorified book tour” and attending “stupid events” to get people to ask her to run for president before she announces her intention to do so.
“There are enough things going on in the world right now,” said Scarborough. “We have enough crises that maybe playing it safe, maybe we need a politician that doesn’t sit back and act like a robot.”
Scarborough accused Clinton of having “no creativity, no spontaneity [and] nothing from the heart.” He also described her as a “robot” who “goes through the motions” but doesn’t reveal anything about herself.
“[Hillary is] begging people to beg her to run for president of the United States or not while people are getting their heads carved off,” said Scarborough. “This is not a game.”
The MSNBC host also criticized former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) for playing similar “political games” by refusing to acknowledge whether or not he will run for president in 2016.
“If you want to run, then run! If you want to save America, then get your a– out there and save America,” he told Clinton and Bush. “Stop playing your stupid political games!”
Addressing Clinton’s recent appearance at the annual Steak Fry in Iowa, Scarborough slammed the former secretary of State for engaging in such unimportant activities amid a foreign policy crisis.
“I don’t want to see you eating steak,” barked Scarborough. “I want to see you talking about how we’re going to stop ISIS.”
