Stephen Colbert discusses Obama’s ISIS speech before it happens

Stephen Colbert gave a little attention to President Obama’s televised address on his ISIS strategy on “The Colbert Report” Wednesday by calling out Fox host Andrea Tantaros for a comment she made in anticipation of the speech.

“I tape my show at 7:00, folks, so I have no idea what he said tonight,” explained Colbert. “All I know is that I completely agree with what Andrea Tantaros said at 5:00, four hours before president’s speech.”

Colbert then rolled a clip of Tantaros saying on Fox News earlier Wednesday, “I’m very deeply troubled by what he will say.”

“I couldn’t have agreed more because I also have not seen it and I am furious about what I think it will be,” Colbert said sarcastically. “We’ll have full coverage of the speech tomorrow, whether or not I ever watch it.”

He concluded the short segment with an accurate hashtag: #GolferInChief.
