Fox and Friends’ Ainsley Earhardt joined Tim Tebow for an interview during his foundation’s golf tournament to cover all the admirable ways Tebow is helping children in need.
Seeing how Tebow interacts with the community and his genuine desire to help others, Earhardt asked Tebow about his interest in politics.
“What about this election cycle, have you thought about politics?” Earhardt asked. “You would be such a good role model for these kids.”
Tebow responded, “Well thank you. It’s been crazy, hasn’t it? It’s been a whirl wind watching everything. Um, you know, I don’t know about this time in my life…”
Earhardt interrupted, “You’re saying there’s hope?”
“If there’s a chance you can make a difference someday in something, then that would be intriguing,” Tebow said.
Tebow, the 28-year-old retired NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner, has a massive following — especially in the Christian community. Tebow lives in Florida and was a college star at the University of Florida.
If Tebow were to run for Congress, his current home near Jacksonville is in the Republican-leaning 4th district represented by Congressman Ander Crenshaw.
