From a driver who was attacked by a Boston cop to a small business owner who went bankrupt due to products cheaply made in China, there’s no shortage of excitement surrounding Uber drivers.
Uber Lives, a new web series, details the true stories.
Camilla Hall, a former Financial Times writer turned producer of the web series, moved to Los Angeles where she spent a lot of time riding in the back of Ubers and talking to drivers.
She thought up a web series for them after realizing how interesting their lives were.
Many drivers have applied out of desperation. Hall told Mashable, “For the most part, Uber had helped these people come out of a very difficult situation.”
