More #Sochiproblems: U.S. Olympic bobsledder Johnny Quinn gets stuck, again

U.S. Olympic bobsledder Johnny Quinn got stuck in Sochi again, this time in an elevator.

The hard-luck Olympian had his latest misfortune Monday with U.S. teammate Nick Cunningham and the bobsled squad’s technical director, David Cripps.

And it seems like almost yesterday that everyone was talking about Quinn being stuck in a bathroom. Oh, wait.

Two days earlier, Quinn had an odd claim to fame after getting trapped in an Olympic Village bathroom and breaking through the door to get out. He had interviews with major sports news outlets and even got a shout-out from William Shatner.

Humorously, Shatner’s tweet was sent only an hour before Quinn tweeted his latest such ‘shenanigans’ in the elevator.

Judging by Quinn’s current track record, let’s hope he doesn’t find himself stuck behind any other uncooperative doors. If he does, he’ll probably figure out how to save the day again and then make a video showing the world how it’s done like he did for NBC Olympics Sunday.

“If you’re ever in Sochi, Russia, as an Olympian, and you get stuck in a bathroom,” Quinn says in the demonstration video, “what I want to do is teach you a few tips that I learned on how to get out.”

The informative 90-second video includes tips like checking the handle, creating noise in an attempt to get help, and doing what he does best: breaking out.
