SNL brought Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg out for an interview this weekend, and she was pretty fired up over the court’s gay marriage case.
“I gotta push same-sex marriage through before God remembers I’m still alive.”
The Notorious RBG was dishing up burns to traditional marriage advocates left and right, accompanied by some very strange victory dances.
She proclaimed this week’s arguments “useless,” declaring, “The arguments I heard were so weak I just hope they’re not holding up Justice Scalia’s chair.”
RBG then turned her sights on anti-gay-marriage states like Kentucky: “I could call out that their most famous citizen is a fried chicken salesman who looks like he should be sipping iced tea at a slave auction, but I’m not gonna go there. And by there, I mean Kentucky.”
That’s a Gins-burn.
