Chris Matthews and Bill Maher think hot supermodels are the only way to win conservative minds on illegal immigration.
Matthews and Maher were lamenting the conservative response to President Obama’s executive action, citing congressmen like Sen. Tom Coburn who predicted possible “anarchy” and “violence” in the wake of the president’s announcement.
“Can we put one myth to rest?” Maher demanded. “That America is a country that’s welcoming to immigrants? When has America ever, ever been welcoming to any immigrant? Certainly not the Irish…”
“Probably the last time Heidi Klum visited,” Matthews joked.
“What, you mean, because she’s hot?” asked Maher, laughing.
“Yes!” Matthews said, cracking himself up. “If there were 10 million Heidi Klums coming up from south of the border, no problem.”
