“I cannot bring myself to rule out another presidential run,” Mike Huckabee explained during his goodbye speech to his Fox News show. “The honorable thing to do at this point is to end my tenure here at Fox.”
In an earlier segment, Huckabee blasted Obama’s executive action and warned the president not to “make him” come to Washington: “Here’s hoping that in the new year of 2015, we see the fine art of governing and if not, I will say what parents often say to their kids, ‘Don’t make me come up there.'”
“Quite frankly governing is hard work,” Huckabee mused. “It requires the patience of Job, the strength of Samson, the courage of David, the perseverance of Noah, the intellect of Paul, the wisdom of Solomon, and the forgiveness of Jesus.”
Huckabee leaves the show after six and a half years, and has promised to make his decision about running by this Spring.
“I say goodbye, but as we say in television, stay tuned,” Huckabee concluded.
