Rep. Allen West Campaign: I’m Just Getting Started

Representative Allen West (R – FL) released a new hard-hitting campaign advertisement this weekend, outlining several bold steps that he believes must be taken to fix the failing bureaucracy of Washington D.C.

“Some say I push too hard, that I ask too much,” West states in the ad. “My repsonse: I’m just getting started. That’s the American way.”

He detailed several government reforms necessary to improve our country, including putting an end to “the taxes and regulations that are killing job growth” and also fixing “a failing education bureaucracy that is leaving America’s children behind.”

In this ad, West’s first reelection ad, West says that he ran for Congress, “to continue my service to the country I love,” and that he “has seen the greatness of this country [America], through the service of my father and my brother.”

A retired lieutenant colonel of the U.S. Army, Rep. West noted that America “inspires men and women to put everything on the line, in defense of our way of life.”

This is Rep. West’s first re-election campaign since taking office in 2010.  An unwavering conservative, Congressman West has been one of the leading voices in the Tea Party Movement and their efforts to reform Washington D.C.
