Criminal spends night in grocery store drinking beer and eating Reddi-whip

Steak, beer, birthday cake, Reddi-whip and cigarettes — all sound like ingredients for a good night with a couple of friends. Or, they could be part of the feast that a Kentucky man indulged in as he spent the night in a ValuMarket grocery store in Mount Washington.

Trevor Runyon entered the store on Sunday evening before closing and hid until employees had locked up for the night, Mount Washington Police Officer Michael Huffman told Wave 3 News. Once the coast was clear, the surveillance footage shows Runyon making himself at home by cooking six steaks, drinking some beer, eating an entire birthday cake, smoking some cigarettes and consuming copious amounts of Reddi-whip — 57 cans worth!

As if that wasn’t ridiculous enough, Runyon also allegedly soiled himself, but afterwards changed his clothes. Apparently that’s what 57 cans of Reddi-whip will do to you.

Surveillance then shows Runyon climbing into the rafters to go to sleep.

The manager of the store found the cans in the garbage the next morning before alerting authorities. Firefighters arrived on the scene to remove him from the rafters and police took him into custody. Runyon is being held at Bullitt County Detention Center in Kentucky awaiting a court hearing, as RTT News reports.

The Mount Washington Police Department did not return request for comment.
