Hillary Clinton admits plan to kill millions of jobs during debate [VIDEO]

Hillary Clinton wasted no time during the first presidential debate of the general election to promote her plan to kill jobs through a nationwide minimum wage hike through a government mandate.

Clinton called for a $15 minimum wage during her first answer in Monday night’s debate. According to the Heritage Foundation, a $15 minimum wage would kill about 7 million American jobs.

Jeremy Adler, the communications director for America Rising Squared, told Red Alert that this will do nothing to help America’s economy.

“The fact that Hillary Clinton would open tonight’s debate with a vow to eliminate millions of American jobs through dramatic minimum wage hikes tells us everything we need to know about her liberal agenda,” Adler said. “The last thing we need to grow the economy and create jobs is another big government mandate from Washington.”

Currently, the national minimum wage is $7.25. Clinton’s Democratic rival during the primaries, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), introduced a bill to Congress to raise the national minimum wage from $7.25 to $15.

The Democratic Party formally included this minimum wage proposal into the campaign platform in 2016. If Clinton is elected, she would hope to have that minimum wage bill passed into law in 2017 and implemented by the year 2021.
