Hillary let a small business owner run her Twitter for the day

On Thursday, Hillary Clinton’s official campaign Twitter account was operated by New Hampshire businesswoman Mary Jo Brown, as part of Clinton’s attempt to gain support from small business owners. WMUR reports:

The Clinton campaign is turning over the Democratic presidential candidate’s Twitter account Thursday to Mary Jo Brown, a University of New Hampshire graduate who has owned and headed Brown and Company Design, a 10-person strategic graphic and web design firm, for the past 23 years.

More from WMUR:

“A Clinton campaign official said Brown was chosen to operate @HillaryClinton account for the day because her experiences coincide with Clinton’s focus this week on small businesses as a key part of her economic agenda. She talked about small businesses in first-caucus state Iowa earlier this week, where she told one owner, “I want to be the small business president.”

Brown used the Twitter page to describe her average day, as well as her reasons for supporting Hillary.
