Comedian Jim Carrey has found meaning in the overnight vandalization of the Lincoln Memorial. On Friday afternoon, the actor tweeted that the green paint signified that “[people] are getting tired of corporate tyranny disguised as democracy.”
On multiple occasions, Carrey has joined the political discussion on Twitter. Earlier this month, he actually backed off of comments he made about gun owners, apologizing for calling them “heartless motherf—ers.”
