On Tuesday, President Obama planned on awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award, to 21 recipients, many of whom are liberal celebrities. DeGeneres, who is a prominent liberal and proud lesbian, has rubbed elbows with the liberal elites, having President Obama and Hillary Clinton on her show, but called Donald Trump “a bully.”
Liberals usually complain about photo identification when it comes to voting, claiming it’s voter suppression and racist. However, when it comes to the White House and coming face-to-face with the President of the United States, you must absolutely have an ID and a background check. There are no exceptions, well, that is if you’re not a celebrity.
Of course, Ellen can get in anywhere or have anything she wants, but when will she finally admit her white privilege? Of any person who identifies with being LGBTQ, Ellen is at the top of the pyramid. How enraged do you think liberals, people of color, and especially members of the LGBTQ community will be that she gets a pass of getting into the White House when many of them couldn’t be afforded the chance of a White House invite?
Yes, liberals love to lecture others on checking their privilege, yet can never check their own when they are the biggest beneficiaries of the things they criticize.
