[WATCH] Stephen Colbert dares graffiti artist Banksy to vandalize his studio

Anonymous street artist Banksy has been making his way around New York City recently, and Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert is daring the British graffitist to try vandalizing his TV studio.

During Tuesday night’s episode of The Colbert Report, the host jokingly outlined specific instructions for the artist to stay far from his studio and under no circumstances deface its blank walls.

“The last thing I want is for my building to be vandalized, and for its property value to skyrocket,” Colbert told the audience, referencing the large sums of money Banksy works bring at auction.

Colbert even went so far as to frame a large portion of an exterior studio wall for Banksy to absolutely not vandalize with his “hoodlum graffito.”

The host then provided specific times the artist should not attempt any sort of vandalism near the building.

“So I’ll be watching for you — except between 3 and 4 a.m. when our security cameras usually cut out,” Colbert said.
