Singer Michael Bublé transformed a group of New Yorkers’ daily commute when he performed a rendition of The Jackson 5’s “Who’s Lovin’ You” at the 66th Street-Lincoln Center subway stop last week.
Bublé sang a capella accompanied by the R& B group Naturally 7 as onlookers captured the moment with their smartphones.
After the Grammy award-winner finished his show-stopping performance, he hugged all of the members of Naturally 7 and high-fived the (mostly female) crowd.
“That is the coolest thing ever,” he says in the video. “Singing in the New York subway, that is when you know you made it. … You see some of the greatest musicians in the world come down here and play.”
“I feel like a real New Yorker now,” Bublé says in a rough attempt of a Brooklyn accent. “Love you New York!”
