Palin: “Welcome to my world, Rick”

Former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin endorsed Rick Santorum’s potty mouth Monday night on Fox News.

“Santorum’s response to that liberal-leftist, in-the-tank for Obama press character really revealed some of Rick Santorum’s character,” Palin said in an appearance on OTR with Greta VanSusteren. “And it was good and it was strong and it was about time because he’s saying enough is enough of the liberal media twisting a conservative’s words, putting words in his mouth, taking things out of context and even just making things up.”

Palin’s comments are in response to a tape released by CBS News of Santorum cursing at a New York Times reporter who asked him to defend his comment that, “Mitt Romney is the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barak Obama.” After the reporter asked Santorum if it was true that he thought Mitt Romney was the worst Republican in the country, Santorum told the reporter to “Stop lying.”

“Quit distorting my words,” Santorum said. If I see it, it’s bulls**t.”

Palin said she agreed with Santorum’s response, but she didn’t seem to feel sorry for him, noting that this is how she’s treated by the liberal media on a regular basis.

“So, when I heard Rick Santorum’s response, I was like ‘Well, welcome to my world Rick and good on you. Don’t retreat. You are saying enough is enough,’ ” Palin said. “And I was glad that he called out this reporter. And he and the other candidates – all of them – they need to do more of this, because believe me, the American people are tired of what that leftist media continues to do to conservatives.”

Palin went on to say that she still believes that Santourm can win the GOP Presidential nomination because she “believes that anything is possible.”
