The seventh installment of the viral late-night sensation “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” is, well, as mean as ever.
The latest version of the segment in which Jimmy Kimmel has celebs read derogatory tweets about themselves features the likes of Julia Roberts, Don Cheadle, Ashton Kutcher, Matthew McConaughey and Emma Stone.
The clear frontrunners for best tweets / reactions, though, are the street magician David Blaine and actor Gary Oldman.
“David Blaine looks like his voice is putting his face to sleep.” Strong.
“Gary Oldman sucks and his accents are [expletive] annoying as [expletive].” That prompted Oldman to laugh boisterously and proclaim, “Yup.” (Many moviegoers may know Oldman as Commissioner Gordon in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, a character for which the British actor voiced an American accent. He played a pretty awful Russian in “Air Force One,” too.)
