At least these kids will never forget the first time a politician lied to them!
During the White House Easter Egg Roll, President Obama made a futile attempt to calm the group of children screaming on the White House lawn after a bee buzzed by. Obama had been reading them “Where the Wild Things Are,” but was soon interrupted by their wails of terror.
“Oh no, it’s a bee. That’s OK, guys. Bees are good, they won’t land on you,” Obama insisted, as the children’s screams grew louder. “They won’t sting you, they’ll be OK.”
“Hold on! Hold on!” Obama yelled, still attempting to restore order. “You guys are wild things! You’re not supposed to be scared of bees when you’re a wild thing!”
