Amy Schumer, other Celebs demand gun control in wake of San Bernardino shootings

In the aftermath of Wednesday’s horrific shooting in San Bernardino, Cali. people all over the country sent thoughtful messages on social media to the victims, their families, and first responders.

Unfortunately, before the perpetrators and their motives could be identified some celebrities used the tragedy to win political points in the name of gun control.

Liberal celebrities, thinking the mass shooting might be the work of a lone wolf, workplace violence, or a deranged person suffering from mental illness thought used to victims to promote their agenda.

It didn’t seem to phase any of them that California already has some of the strongest gun control laws in place or as John Lott put it in National Review, “passing more laws doesn’t keep terrorists from getting guns.”

Some of these same celebrities were the ones who said that America shouldn’t rush to pass the Patriot Act or go to war with Iraq after 9/11, they wanted thoughtful debate and analysis. When it comes to their political agenda though, to hell with debate, take away rights.
