The merchandising! So far, that’s the best thing to come out of “Weinergate 2: The Internet Strikes Back,” the scandal hindering former Congressman and current New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner.
On CafePress.com, the online customized product megastore, “Carlos Danger” has created an account and is now selling his wares. Danger is, of course, the name Weiner used to shield his online shenanigans.
In the Danger store, folks can purchase the usual trinkets like a Carlos Danger mug, t-shirt and sticker. For the home there’s a Carlos Danger canvas pillow and a Carlos Danger shower curtain.
Additionally, the store is selling an array of products with the phrase, “Incoming Text…from Carlos Danger–3 attachments,” mimicking an iPhone message. This line of Carlos Danger merch even includes an iPhone 4 case to keep your phone nicely covered.
