Trump supporters troll Megyn Kelly’s new book on Amazon

Donald Trump is headed to the White House in January, despite what he calls the “unfair” media, but his supporters continue to lash out at reporters — especially Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.

According to the Chicago Tribune, “More than 100 negative one-star reviews appeared on the Amazon page selling Kelly’s memoir “Settle for More” within hours of its Tuesday release.” The Chicago Tribune also pointed out that most of these reviews came from a “pro-Trump Reddit forum called “The_Donald.”

Reddit users encouraged others on the forum to trash Kelly’s new book. While some of these nasty comments have reportedly been removed, not all have.

Kelly is no stranger to criticism from Trump supporters. In fact, parts of her book describe the bullying that she went through during the last election cycle, including death threats she received. Kelly was put in the spotlight for her tough questions while she was moderating the Republican primary debates. During one of the debates, Kelly asked all of the candidates if they would endorse the eventual GOP nominee. Trump was the only one who said no.

Kelly also asked Trump about the vulgar comments that he has made in the past about women. Trump claimed the remarks she was accusing him of were false. He eventually went on to attack Kelly with more crude remarks.

Trump’s repudiation of Kelly overflowed into a section of his fan-girl (and guy) voters. Some of his dedicated supporters even went on to attempt to boycott her show on Fox News.

Trump eventually brought Kelly to his Manhattan Hotel to apologize, but it appears as though his supporters still can’t let it go.

All of those negative reviews obviously weren’t about the actual book, as hundreds of people would not have had time to buy, ship, and read it in the immediate hours after its release.

Megyn Kelly’s book inspires people to “Settle for More.” Maybe some of these trolls should actually read it and heed her advice.
