[WATCH] Conservatives and other public figures wish Sarah Palin a happy 50th birthday

Sarah Palin turned 50 Tuesday, and a wide group of conservatives and other public figures are wishing her the best.

The conservative women’s PAC She-PAC produced a video tribute to the former Alaska governor and vice-presidential nominee, recognizing her contributions in political life and reassuring her that ’50’ is just a number.

“Congratulations on finally making it to 50. I’ve been there a long time, it’s really OK,” former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said says into the camera.

“You don’t look a day over 40, don’t let anybody kid you. God has been good to you child,” Phil Robertson quips as a duck call sounds in the background. “May you have a happy, happy, happy birthday.”

Uncle Si goes one further (or maybe 11 is more like it): “Hi Miss Palin. Look here, happy birthday, 29 and counting, have a good one.”

Other public figures have well-wishes for Palin in the video, including her former running mate, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) — two men who have found themselves at odds a time or two.

“Your unwavering courage and commitment to America is inspiring,” Cruz says. “You are a warrior and I couldn’t be more proud to stand beside you fighting alongside the American people to save this great nation.”

In the second half of the video, Palin is thanked for her efforts as a member of the Republican Party by Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, and others.

She-PAC also has set up a birthday e-card for Palin on its website, which takes signers to a donation page.

Palin Facebooked her appreciation to supporters Tuesday.

“Thank you so much for the kind birthday wishes. It’s so very, very humbling,” she wrote. “God bless you all… from your half-century old friend! Gulp.”
