Hillary Clinton is making her pitch to millennials blatantly obvious after appearing on an episode of Funny Or Die’s “Between Two Ferns”, hosted by comedian Zach Galifianakis. The 5-minute video opens up with Galifianakis, wearing a grim reaper mask, sneaking up on Clinton before getting tackled and thrown by the secret service. He, then, sat down with an unfazed Clinton to commence the interview.
There were many instances where the interview seemed staged, but there were some great raw moments in which Galifianakis trolled Clinton on her many controversies.
When Galifianakis introduced Clinton to the program, her chyron noted that she “had pneumonia” right below her name, highlighting the recent controversy surrounding her physical health and the Clinton campaign being coy with the media about releasing her initial diagnosis until after she fainted at the 9/11 ceremony a week and a half ago.
As the interview went on, Galifianakis roasted both Clinton and President Obama when he asked her, “As Secretary, how many words per minute could you type? And how does President Obama like his coffee? Like himself? Weak?”
Clinton dismissed his question by responding, “Those are really out of date questions. You need to get out more.”
When it came to discussing Donald Trump, Galifianakis pulled no punches when he asked if Clinton should be more racist on the campaign trail given how well it’s worked for him, prompting her to grin and shake her head.
Galifianakis continued trolling Clinton by bringing up her plan to “take away everyone’s guns”, making her say, “I really regret doing this.”
The icing on the cake came near the end when Galifianakis cut off Clinton in the middle of her answer on the economy to play a Trump ad.
The last 13 seconds were gold as Galifianakis ended the interview with, “Well, this was a lot of fun, Ms. Clinton, we should keep in touch. What’s the best way to reach you? Email?”
Clinton then gave Galifianakis the death glare before he pressed his trademark red button, which played the AOL jingle: “You’ve got mail!”
