MTV helped normalize anti-white identity politics [VIDEO]

Too often conservatives mock the extreme identity politics coming out of college campuses rather than combatting it. They claim that students will change once they reach the “real world.” However, MTV’s “New Years Resolution for White Guys” video proves that they’re more likely to change the culture than change themselves.

Red Alert Politics’ senior writer Ryan James Girdusky appeared on Fox Business on Wednesday and said that college culture had gone mainstream.

“(The MTV video) is the extreme identity politics that has taken over college campuses,” Girdusky said to host Charles Payne. “The extreme identity politics that was seen in the Bernie Sanders campaign like when he said ‘All Lives Matter’ and had to redact that statement, and this is the identity politics that demands to be in polite society you have to believe in these things.”

Girdusky was quick to emphasize that while most people who watched this video were horrified by its message, it shows the outgrowth of social justice warrior culture from college campuses to mainstream America.

Extreme identity politics encourages people to value race, gender, and sexual orientation above all other things. They use their grievances to demand changes from those considered as oppressive, in this case and most cases, it’s white men.

The Red Alert Politics writer was also quick to mention that white liberals should take one lesson from social justice warriors’ experience and it’s that they’ll never be progressive enough. The Left will always eventually turn on them as they did on Lena Dunham and Amy Schumer.
