Former congressman Allen West (R-Fla.) sent an eery warning to liberals via Facebook today —while he’s fair game to hate on, step away from his wife or “you will face” him.
“I…have no issue with the insidious and incessant personal attacks by the left against me,” he wrote. “However, I am warning you, end your harassment of my wife Angela.”
West’s message was specifically directed towards Florida Atlantic University (FAU) students, who according to him, have shown up at his wife’s office, “stalked her at the FAU Board of Trustee meetings, and sent letters to her company headquarters.”
“This is not a threat,”West, who is now the director of PJ Media’s Next Generation programming, said in a Facebook post Wednesday. “It is a promise that if Angela calls and tells me of one more incident, you will face me, the side of me that you do not want to see.”
The former Army lieutenant colonel made it clear he’s only saying this once.
“How dare you animals attack my wife and her professional reputation,” he wrote, “This is your one and only advisory notice.”
As of Wednesday afternoon, more than 21,000 people had liked the post and close to 4,500 had already shared it.
West also sent the following post on Twitter around noon Eastern time on Wednesday.
To FAU students stalking my wife at Bd of Trustee mtgs, end it now. If u believe you can intimidate her, u are mistaken. Nxt time u face me.
