Texas Gov. Rick Perry owns a semi-automatic rife and he knows how to use it!
Prior to the Republican’s speech at the NRA-IRL Leadership Forum on Friday — part of the 2013 NRA Annual Meetings in Houston, Texas — organizers played a highlight video of Perry hitting targets at an outdoor shooting range using a semi-automatic rifle.
Perry then walked onto the stage to cheers from the audience.
“Welcome to Texas, ladies and gentlemen,” he said.
