The latest ABC News/Washington Post poll released Monday morning continues the trend of bad news for Hillary Clinton.

The poll results showed that 33 percent of voters considered themselves Democrats, 22 percent Republicans, and 35 percent Independents.

For those who leaned Democratic, 42 percent said, “if the 2016 Democratic presidential primary or caucus in your state were being held today,” would vote for Hillary Clinton. A plurality of voters chose her, with 24 percent choosing Bernie Sanders and 22 percent choosing Joe Biden.

Gone are the days though then when Clinton commanded such a majority lead over her opponents. Clinton dropped 21 points in the poll, actually.

Clinton also received low marks for other questions. For the “honest and trustworthy” question, 56-39 said she was not. With whether “she understands the problems of people like you,” 51-46 said she did not.

With regards to “the way Hillary Clinton is handling questions about her use of personal e-mail while she was secretary of state,” 55 percent disapprove, while only 34 approve.

Fifty-one percent believe that Clinton “broke government regulations,” while only 32 percent believe she “stayed within government regulations.”

And when it comes to the facts about the e-mails, 54 percent believe Clinton “tried to cover up the facts,” while 34 percent believe she “honestly disclosed the facts.”

There were two questions though where Clinton fared better. On whether “she has the kind of personality and temperament it takes to serve effectively as president,” 56-41 said she did. And, 49-44 think “Hillary Clinton’s use of personal e-mail while she was secretary of state… is not a legitimate issue in next year’s presidential election.”

Republican frontrunner Donald Trump similarly did not receive high marks.

The question asked voters who would they would choose if the election were held today. Who knows what could come out against Hillary tomorrow, or the next day? If it’s more bad news, her numbers may continue to plummet.
