Lewis Black wishes he could turn back the clock and run for president. On Monday night’s edition of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the 68-year-old comedian said given the fact that Donald Trump is now the president, he should’ve thrown his hat into the ring.
“If there was a year, this should’ve been the one I ran,” Black said dismayed to audience laughter.

“I have seen you angry through four presidential administrations,” Colbert began to ask. “Is there anything unique about your present level of anger with the Trump administration?”
Black replied, “I did a lot of hallucinogens when I was younger in order to prepare me for any eventual reality, and I never saw this one coming.”
