Robert F. Kennedy Jr. didn’t like answering questions about his own carbon footprint at the People’s Climate March

PJTV’s Michelle Fields took to the streets during the “People’s Climate March” in New York City Sunday. The event attracted a lot of stars and Fields went up to talk to them about their personal carbon footprints.

The exchanges were not very friendly, particularly in the case of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“Doesn’t it start with people like you?” Fields asked, commenting on some of his lifestyle choices.

“No, it starts with changing the laws,” Kennedy responded, later telling her that he doesn’t need to lead by example.

The interview grows more and more heated and Fields continues to ask questions and Kennedy grows upset. Wagging his finger in her face, he places blame on the press.

“One of the biggest canards that the press has fallen for is that by blaming individuals for their own choices, that’s not the issue. The issue is what’s happening on Capitol Hill and that’s the thing you guys aren’t paying attention to,” Kennedy told Fields. “You’re letting these people, you’re letting the Koch brothers run our country, subvert our democracy, corrupt our politicians…That’s what you ought to be paying attention to rather than asking trivial and inane questions about what kind of car somebody drives or whether or not they use a cell phone.”

She also tweeted that actor Leonardo DiCaprio was also not a fan of her interview questions about his lifestyle.
