The Democratic Primary debates obviously won’t have reality TV star and GOP front-runner Donald Trump at their debate. There will still be special performances though.
CNN is hosting the first debate in Las Vegas, which will appear Tuesday night. And as they reported, Sheryl Crow will be performing to sing the National Anthem.
Crow said that “I think most people know that I’m a Democrat.” She also talked to CNN about her concern for the environment and how she hopes Democrats will push to raise the minimum wage.
She likely would not enjoy a debate with Trump present, as CNN notes that “debates are vital, she said, to try and filter out the noise of the pundits.”
On his Fox News show, The Greg Gutfeld Show, Greg Gutfeld joked that there should be face painting and other such activities for the kids in order to draw people in.
There is the possibility of even more excitement though happening at the debate. Vice president Joe Biden has until the day of the debate, which is tomorrow, to announce he’s running. If he does, CNN will allow him to participate.
And, as many Americans know, Joe Biden could make things that much more interesting just by showing up.
