He might look awkward riding a horse shirtless, but Vladimir Putin sure seems formidable wearing hockey skates.
The Russian president scored eight goals during a hockey match against former National Hockey League players on Saturday, according to RT.
The game was held in one of the Sochi olympic sports arenas. In addition to retired NHL players, other Russian officials and businessmen also competed in the game.
Putin scored the first goal of the night for his team, the “Stars,” and went on to deliver seven more. The Russian president’s squad won the game handedly 18-6.
Though impressive, this probably won’t do anything to elevate Putin’s approval rating in the United States.
