NATO delegations from Canada and Russia look to start Twitter Cold War

Let the passive aggressive subtweet battles begin!

The Canadian delegation to NATO took to Twitter to poke fun at Russia’s “accidental” military action across the Ukrainian border with a map reminding them where Russia ended. The map pictured gave Crimea back to Ukraine.

Russia didn’t take too kindly to this. The country had annexed the Crimean peninsula earlier in 2014 and they were determined to reclaim their land and raise their Twitter flag high.

Obviously, the only way to accomplish this was a response tweet from the NATO’s Russian delegation.

Welcome to the world of online shade throwing Russia!
