Former Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is known for his fiscal savviness and love of P90X, but the congressman showed fans his more outdoorsy side this weekend.
Ryan enjoys ‘noodling’ catfish and the occasional fishing trip — so much so that he recently rewarded his prize catch with a kiss on the lips, and broadcast it to his 500,000 Twitter followers.
The picture, which was sent from Ryan’s verified Twitter account Sunday, was captioned with the phrase, “Politicians don’t always kiss babies.”
What was seemingly a silly joke to the Wisconsin Republican sparked a string of jokes regarding the Supreme Court’s recent decision to strike down the Defense of Marriage Act and California’s Proposition 8.
