President Obama has certainly gotten some bad newspaper coverage because of his response to ISIS.
The New York Post features Obama on its cover Thursday. In the photo, the president has a blindfold over his eyes and the text below him reads, “Islamic terror? I just don’t see it.”
The cover, of course, is in reference to the fact that Obama continuously refuses to acknowledge the fact that Islam plays a part in motivating violent extremism worldwide, like that exhibited by ISIS in the Middle East.
In fact, the president spoke at the White House Summit on Countering Violent Extremism Wednesday, declaring, “No religion is responsible for terrorism — people are responsible for violence and terrorism.”
“We are not at war with Islam,” Obama said later. “We are at war with people who have perverted Islam.”
