Mark Wahlberg is further solidifying his place as a true American hero.
After telling leftist celebrities like Lena Dunham, LeBron James, and George Clooney to shut up about politics, The Fighter actor went a step further and made liberals even more upset by saying that things will be just fine under Donald Trump’s presidency.

While promoting his new film about the Boston Marathon bombing Patriot’s Day with director Peter Berg, Wahlberg was asked E! News’ Marc Malkin if he feels the nation will be safer under Trump.
“Being the positive person that I am, I have to hope so,” Wahlberg replied. “I have to remain optimistic that the future will get better.”
Not only does Wahlberg think that things will get better under President-elect Trump, he stems his optimism from his Catholic faith, which is something that will send liberals over a cliff.
“Peter [Berg] and I have had endless conversations about this,” the Lone Survivor actor said. “I think he’s always convinced I’m trying to convert him to Catholicism, which I’m not, but life is short. If we live to be 100, it’s still a short amount of time. I want to live forever. I want to be with my loved ones forever and my faith allows me to deal with loss, disappointment, failure, all of those things, sickness. It reminds me that things can always be worse and how lucky I am, how blessed I am, how fortunate I am and I want to encourage people to have the ability to look at things in a positive way.”
Maybe it’s time liberals ‘come home to Jesus’ and realize the world isn’t over.
