Kentucky must be pretty “Frozen.”
Conditions in the state became so frigid and snowy last week that the Harlan City Police Department issued an “arrest warrant” for Queen Elsa of Disney’s “Frozen” on its Facebook page Wednesday.
“All points bulletin!!!” reads the post, which quickly went viral. “HPD has issued an arrest warrant for Queen Elsa of Arendelle. Suspect is a blonde female last seen wearing a long blue dress and is known to burst into song ‘Let it Go!’ As you can see by the weather she is very dangerous. Do not attempt to apprehend her alone.”
Post by Harlan City Police Department.
Elsa is, of course, the character in “Frozen” who is blessed with the power to freeze whatever she pleases.
After the police department received thousands of likes and plenty of media attention for the “warrant,” a local Tennessee new station is now reporting that Elsa has been apprehended.
From WBIR:
Lily’s mom snapped the photo of “Elsa’s” apprehension and shared it with the Harlan Daily Enterprise.
Let’s all hope Elsa can keep her powers in check so Friday night’s predicted winter weather won’t be as bad as feared.
Perhaps the arrest is responsible for the welcomed uptick in temperature in Harlan, Kentucky. Unfortunately, the forecast of cold air for Monday suggests Elsa might find a way to escape.
