Bill Maher’s politics are not always the greatest. But when it comes to knocking down the liberal PC brigade, he is on point like no other.
On his Friday night show, Maher targeted all the liberals who are up in arms over Dolce and Gabbana’s comments about how they oppose “synthetic babies.”
“For folks who take such pride in their love of diversity, liberals increasingly seem to tolerate none in their own ranks,” Maher said. “I don’t necessarily agree with Dolce and Gabanna, but what is the point of attacking people who are 95 percent on your side?”
He proceeded to thoroughly mock all the fake outrage—“Really? You can’t sell handbags now if you only agree with Elton John almost all the time? In Syria, ISIS is throwing gay people off buildings. Maybe there are bigger battles to fight.”
He also observed that the right is definitely not the only side with “crazies”—the left needs to get theirs under control, too. Like Media Matters, which got super offended over “The Economist’s” cover story on Latinos which they illustrated by making a flag out of chili peppers.
“Hey, Media Matters, can I say one thing to you? Shut the f—up,” Maher snapped.
“How deeply stupid has the far left become when gay designers can’t get along with gay musicians? When vegans attack vegetarians?”
