Viral: The weirdest — and greatest — Trump political satire of 2016 [VIDEO]

A “Japanese Donald Trump Commercial” has confused the internet and transcended irony and politics.

Unfortunately, it’s not from Japan, though it is inspired by the country.

Made by Mike Diva, a “maker of videos/music/memes & dreams,” according to his YouTube account, the video shows an Asian woman enamored with Trump. The video begins in her room, plastered with pictures of Trump, then gets unmoored from reality. A dancing Trump and a bust of him surrounded by tanks jumps to him transforming into a weaponized robot of sorts, building a pink border wall, and destroying the Earth with lasers.

Diva’s videos “employ elements of a style known as vaporwave , which typically feature a bright blue and pink color palette, absurdity, washed-out synthesizer music, and references to Japan, Ancient Greece, and Windows 95,” according to Roll Call.

The satirized adoring fan and aggressive music and visuals probably wouldn’t bother Trump. What might goad him are the neon-light swastikas that Trump salutes in front of.
