Kimmel interviews candidate who accidentally posted porn websites [VIDEO]

Mike Webb, who was running as a Republican in Virginia’s 8th congressional district, made national news when he accidentally shared a screenshot of his computer that showed two tabs opened to porn websites. So naturally, late night comedian Jimmy Kimmel had to interview him and made him keep his hands where the audience could see them.

The Republican candidate said that the whole incident was a big misunderstanding.

“I would like to say that politicians like to look into different positions, but that would not be the case,” Webb joked. “On a separate incident we received a cyber attack and many commenters online indicated that it had to come from a porn site.”

Webb said that he decided to look into it himself and took the step-by-step process to see how it could have happened, and claimed he only came across the x-rated website through a dating company.

“[I was trying to] reverse engineer the theory that was coming at us on social media and other ways in terms of how we might have gotten the virus from a porn site,” the candidate continued.

Kimmel joked, “Isn’t that like looking into a gun to figure out how you got shot?”
